Not sure where I read it, but somehow that phrase has stuck in my mind - we are the sum of our everyday. And if that isn't a siren call to doing the small things that bring joy and doing them as often as possible, then I don't know what is.
Today's small joys and triumphs? A finished pair of woollen mitts (the peerless zip mits) - a patten which pulls of the ultimate trick of being straightforwardly pleasurable to knit and aesthetically pleasing.
And coffee - the antidote to a very late, but good night spent with friends. And so 2017 begins. Page 1 of 365
