Wow! Blackbird'd really enthused about that skirt! Monica sent me the website address a while ago. I went and looked, but the aussie dollar price is up to about $100 a skirt. I resisted.... but only just.
I love it! I got the Clothkits newsletter the other day and had to pop over! I really hope the collection keeps on growing! I loved their clothes as a child.
Oooh, that evil peer pressure! It's only the knowledge that I'd completely stuff it up that stops me succumbing too (me and sewing are not made for eachother!) You on the other hand will do that skirt justice - can't wait to see it finished!
Where have I been? I didn't know Clothkits were back... used make their stuff all the time when the boys were little. They had gorgeous dungarees and jackets - and now gorgeous grown up skirts. No wonder you couldn't resist.
the spooky thing is that when I got their email yesterday or the day before I thought to myself... this looks like it's made for Ali... which colour did you go for?
I was sorely tempted but am totally brassic at the moment. Maybe if they come up with some winter stuff.
Absolutely gorgeous skirt. Will you please post a picture when you've got it and made it? I have 'knee' issues which prevent me doing likewise *blush* x
YOU TAKE THE BLAME ALI. that is the best site ever, i have bought a skirt pack and am trying to resist all the little girl dress kits. Absolutely fantastic. You now need to set up a flickr site of finished garments.
It's fascinating - great cut too.

Hot Damn!! My credit card is a-twitching!! Fab Fab Skirts!!

The only thing between me and those fab skirts are my hideous knees (and the varicose veins that Henry gave me). Every cloud...

it is a fab skirt. Sometimes it's good to give in.

Gorgeous skirt!! I was about to comment on how beautifully you were modelling it and then I realised it's not actually you - doh!
I love the pink birdie one but I have enough of a natural bustle without needing more!!

Love these skirts! (You may be holding Monica and Katy responsible, but if I buy one, it's you I'll have to blame...)

ha! we drove past there the other day – it looked like a mad chinese laundry with everyone's stuff hanging off all their balconies!
