This morning, my friend asked: 'Did you do anything for Valentine's Day?'
Me: 'Oh yes, but not with my husband. '
I didn't realize how it sounded until I registered the shock on her face. I meant with the children. Really, my life just doesn't have room for that sort of drama.
Just cards made by little people.
And the odd cupcake.
We aren't much for big romantic gestures at our house. Though I did manage a gift for hubby.
Because home really is where my heart is.
Hope your day was sweet and special.
ha ha! no, that didn't come across as you itended, did it? :)
we don't do anything as a couple for V-day, either, but i love doing little small things for my kiddos - and their friends.

We don't do much for Valentine's Day either (I saw it referred to as Happy VD somewhere or other - talk about things not coming across as intended!)

That framed collage of pictures is wonderful. And I'm thinking of renaming you 'Queen of Cupcakes' or something similar. x

Just the kind of comment that I'd make too! It's a good job our friends don't take us too literally. Beautiful photos again and I love the frame you gave hubby, chat soon, Liz

I love the gift you made for your hubby- he must have been really touched.
In a strange twist of fate I spent the evening at the theater with my daughter, her best friend and her Dad. It felt mighty wierd being picked up by someone other then my intended on Valentine's night!
