Hi Ali,
A bit late but thanks for the sweet potato link. Just made them and they remind me of my childhood. We used to boil or bake them and then dip them in tamarind sauce. Actually you should try it - you can buy tamarind paste at Waitrose now. Just dilute a few teaspoons slightly - add a pinch each of garam masala, salt and sugar and dip in your wedges. I did mine without the sugar so they were better with the sauce.
I just wish I had had more than three potatoes in the house!
