Loved this! So funny and exactly how I would feel! Mind you, I loved Sue's post too x

dottycookie

10.14 Make dottycookie cry with laughter.

Sue

Is that all? Tut tut.I have washed all my curtains, all my sofa covers, made 24 jars of jelly from various hedgerow fruits foraged early this morning, crocheted 14 granny squares, baked 2000 flapjacks, boiled up the remains of last night's supper to make stock and constructed a neck brace for injured son out of lolly sticks, bubble-wrap and cute Japanese quilting fabric.

Actually I have done is drink four cups of coffee and a bit of laundry :o) Thank you for making laugh.

Dragonfly

Too funny! On my second mug of coffee now (first one at approx. 6.45 and instant for quick fix)
OCD? Bring it on. Tuesday is towel washing day and I always dry them in the drier for fluffiness : )

gracie

Hilarious!

Monda

This made me laugh lot. Thanks :o)

Paola

I lurve these posts.

Peeriemoot

Nooooooo, need closure on the rest of your day! :-D

trash

Best to get as much done as possible before Women's Hour starts. One doesn't like to interrupt the flow.

Louise

Lovely! It's great to read other people's timetables. And for the rest of the day...?!

Account Deleted

It's funny where the time goes isn't it?! I thought, not working full time, I'd have loads of time to knit, sew, paint, garden, bake, clean, relax etc etc but there's still not enough time! Crazy!

Julie

Oh Ali good for you - you got alot further with describing your day than I would have done! It's lovely to know that I'm not the only one who stores their clean unfolded laundry on the sofa - and in our house it mostly goes straight from there onto it's respective person without ever being assaulted by an iron or seeing the inside of a drawer!

jackie

Ahh...a woman's blog is never done.

Debi

Thank you for the chuckle! I do the same thing with my dryer... love fluff!!

louise

I am a 'fluffer' too! I however am a bit more than 'small beans OCD' and my reasons are more that I believe, rightly or wrongly, that the drier actually sucks a bit of dust / fluff off the items so that when I put them away I can rest easy knowing there are know bits of them, rather than the extra fluffiness - that is just an added bonus!

MagicBean

Love it. Ax

French Knots

Just shows how much we cram into our days, blog reading, taking photos, blog posting, taxiing children, feeding them - no wonder there's no time for housework!

Lina

Sounds so familiar...except school starts at stupid o clock (7:55)here :(
I'm amazed how quickly the time goes and wonder how I ever managed to go out to work everyday and still manage groceries, cleaning etc!

Amanda

This made me laugh!
I do really need a drier too, but it would be more used for the 'accidentally left it out overnight' than fluffing.

Lynn

I RELISHED this post. Do more! Please!!

And your candles have wings!

Annie

Brilliant! I daren't begin to describe what I did between 9.00 and 10.00 this morning ... it involved much whippet wrangling and a spray bottle ... care to swop days?

Angel Jem

Slightly jealous as I haven't had a day like that since July with summer holidays and full-time work.... but the jealousy will only last until pay day and I only have 9 days work left. Come November I'll be sipping my special coffee and seeking the end of your day...... you will write the rest of the day, won't you?

Laura

I think, really, you took the words right out of my mouth.

UK lass in US

8.53am eating a choc ice while reading blogs. Contemplating what I should be doing instead (such as cleaning up ready for my mother-in-law's visit - she's the type that you wouldn't be surprised to find running a white glove over the top of your fridge to inspect it. Hmm, better add clean the top of the fridge to list)
8.57am wondering how it was still an effort to get my kids out the door by 7.45am despite their being awake at 5.30am. Decide to have a second choc ice for energy. Better add go for a swim to the list.

Helen King

Ha ha ha! Love this post Ali x

Alice C

I think I should 'fess up. My morning goes likes this:
0645 drink tea in bed brought by kind husband; read book
0700 get up; have bath; read newspaper
0730 decide if radio 4 better than silent house
0800 house exactly as tidy/untidy as it was the previous evening; have 10 minute burst of housework
0830 leave for work and people and noise

The Coffee Lady

I don't much like using the tumble dryer and I usually try to avoid it. But I do like the fact that if I act fast when the clothes have dried in there, I have to iron less of them.

Julia@kolo

Hilarious! And it is amazing how much time it takes to keep track of a day. A good reminder about how much happens each day which I filter and forget. Thanks for the reminder :-)

Beth

This made me laugh loads. I'm with you though, it would have taken a loooong time to document your whole day, best to give up and listen to Jenni :) (I also fluff in the dryer, except sheets which I like air crisp).
