Amaranthine

I'm here, just suffering from complete blog block. Can't think of a single interesting thing to say, and I usually have far too much to say!
Nice hats.

kristina

Oooh that looks far nicer than a hut! I can see why Tracy loves Under the Thatch. And I'm still here but have noticed the quiet round blogland too.

this is so cute!

periwinkle

that Tin HUt is amazing , I'd stay there any day .

domestikate

Here! Fab photos, your boys are fun!

And I've no excuse for being quiet on my blog at the moment, no summer hols, no kids off school, just life as usual but somehow busier!

kirsten

I know what you mean. somehow it's hard to post in the summer these days...

(bottom left corner is my fave photo -hilarious!

Dragonfly

Still here but not for much longer! I did a big ol' brain dump post yesterday just to clear my head!

Great pics btw.

Sarah

I'm here *waves* - we want pics of "the hut"!!

Sue

I'm here too. Love the look of the Ty Sinc -can't help feeling that should translate as Zinc Hut.

The Coffee Lady

I am here. I thought this year I'd blog prolifically while everyone was away, so I didn't have to worry if it was worth posting or not.

But I may not be able to summon up the energy. Fab hats! Gawd love the National Trust. They save us year after year.

{gemmifer}

Hellooooo.... we're out here! I know how you feel, though... I wish more folks would comment more often when they stop by my blog too.

driftwood

oh my that hut looks amazing!
the hat fun looks great too!

Annie

Love the hats, and adore the hut ... what a pity it only takes 2 dogs ... it's really hard finding somewhere that will take 5 or 6!

I'm quite enjoying the blogland peace and quiet ... less pressure to get another post of my own out there. But I know what you mean about the echo!

Louise Paemen

Hi, I rarely comment but still follow your blow . In fact so inspired that I'm going to start my own. Any tips? typepad v. blogger?

domesticali

Nothing I like better than a new blogger!! Welcome to the dark side, Louise.

I began my blogging days on blogger - it's great - simple to use and free!!

I switched to Typepad, because blogger was having issues with accepting comments from non-blogger users (these have since been sorted out). I don't find the interface quite so intuitive, and I do have to pay for the privilege. But Typepad has the advantage of giving you emails for all your commenters, so it's far easier to reply to people. With blogger, you can only reply if a commenter has set up their user profile to include an email. Depends how important that is to you.

Honestly, I'd start with Blogger and see how you go. Let me know when it's up and running if you'd like me to send some friendly readers your way.

Please keep yelling. There are lots of lurkers out there.......like me!

Gina

I'm still here too Ali... but yes, it's quiet. Great photos of your boys!

mooncalf

I'm here and enjoying your posts!

I love the slightly sleepy feeling of August when the University is almost shut and the roads are free of school traffic. Now if only we could hang onto the summer sun...

Jodi Anderson

This is a clever and fun use of the time that you had on your hands. Welcome back!!!

blackbird

Those are wonderful photos.

Caroline

I've heard the echo over at my blog too, ha, ha. I don't usually comment on your blog; I just lurk and enjoy it! You're so right about finding fun where you can. My kids are older, but they're usually willing to have fun where ever we go...as long as they also have their ipod along.

Annabel

That cottage is adorable, as are your boys.

MagicBean

I hadn't noticed the echo- don't think anyone reads my blog anyway...
You didn't try on the Bean favourite hat- pants on the head. Suspect that NT properties don't think of that. Probably for the best. Ax

Thimbleanna

Yep -- some of us are still here. It is awfully quiet these days in blogland isn't it? I'm hoping it's just summer. Love those hat pictures -- what a fun idea!

PinkCatJo

I'm here...just about!

I loved the pictures. They made me laugh...and made me miss all my Year 5's from school! x

Twiggy

Hello I'm here !! they are some fantastic looks going on there:)

We're here...got back a few hours ago!

I love your holiday cottage - especially that gorgeous bathroom!

We've just had a week in Devon with the in-laws and despite the hotel initially seeming like a bit of an 80s throw-back, it was a great week and we had a fabulous time. Heck, I even had my nails and eyebrows done!!

Kirsty

Ha! Great hats, fantastic photos and your boys make such gorgeous models (even when they're pulling boy faces!).

Sew Create It - Jane

Great series of pictures...would make an excellent print to be framed!

Hope you are having a good summer :o)

Readersguide

Hello hello! Nice hats! (And beautiful boys in them.)

tiel

this reminds me of the childhood book, GO DOG GO. the part in it where one of the dogs says "hello.....do you like my hat?"
