Thank heaven for the small things.

This makes me want 1) and ice cream scoop, and 2) a whoopie pie.
I was so pleased to be visited by the fairy hobmother - bless him. I haven't spent my amazon voucher yet - I'm just trying to decide what to spend it on!

I agree, the perfect cookie can help everything else just fall into place.

Sometimes the littlest things make us the happiest!

It's the little things that make life so lovely.

I;ve just spent all day making 50 whoopies for school tomorrow and yours puts mine to shame :-(

oh thank you for that scoop you sent me!!! We actually just used it for icecream... and the boys want to try it with mash potatoes (me thinks not)...
I haven't told them it's for whoopie pies... because I need to pack suitcases, NOT bake.
I just couldn't cope with that right now.

Why are there not more perfect little utensils out there? I'd like a sauce whisk that doesn't get claggy floury sauce stuck in its twirls, and a garlic press that sends all the garlic out the holes, rather than leaving half the garlic inside, and sending a thick chunk through the hinge as well. This list could be much longer but I am being concise for once!

You'll find it marvellous for having cupcakes all the same size too!

Yum!
It's very satisfying when a gadget lives up to expectations. My s-i-l party sells a certain brand of kitchen ware and I have to say most of the super special nifty gadgets make no sense to me at all.
Your perfect little whoopie pie just shows that the simple ideas are the best.

Other "All's right in the world" feelings include:
Buying new pens and a notebook in September despite it being er, several years since you needed to do that,
and
When it rains JUST after you get home.

I have bought a tin from Lakeland that is specifically for making whoopie pies in. I haven't used it yet but now I will, just to see if it works (the madeleine one didn't, but that is probably just me).

SLURP.
All I can say.

This made me laugh so much. You are genius!
And your whoopie pies don't look half bad either!

Such dedication!

It is very much the small things. I do not have to explain to ANYONE why it was important to buy a set of new camping plates.

I have tea brewing. I would give my eye teeth for that whoopie pie right now. Love its perfect curves.
