Long time visitors here might remember seeing this photograph before. But I couldn't not use it, because for me, it sums up this time of year so well. Summer has gone, though there are a few lingering reminders that it was well spent. Time to clear the decks and hunker down.

I wish summer would realise that it's gone over here - it was over 100 degrees yesterday. I badly need to do some weeding, but I'm not going out in that heat...
Do crocs give you blisters? They seem like they would.
